I'm hoping you're planning to repaint the rest of the car so that the rims will match... right?

Your dash underside area looks like it's a giant knot of wires! Is it hot-wired? lol

I get ALOT of comments from chicks. Surprisingly. I figured i'd get called a fag and such and looked down upon. Only bad comments come from sexually insecure people. It's a fucking color. Big deal. Grow up.

The pics of your car, your car looks nice. But it's also done to your taste, which is alittle different from mine.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. I believe it looks flippin' awesome, but once again, that is MY opinion on MY 3gee. My camera is a sad 3MP cam. The rim coloring is off. It's HOT pink. Not the red it makes it look.

    Re: Nice

Fix fender, fix turn signals, remove 2.0 on fender, repaint ALL trim - win.

    Maybe fix wires too.

Everybody has different taste, but rocking broken turn signals and dented body panels is something no one enjoys seeing. I feel that's alot of the reason for the negative comments.

JY visit is a good idea.

Yea... About that...... Umm... I'd be so confused if I saw that on the road. I've seen some manly cars with pink as an accent color, u just have to tastefully do it... And not heading in the right direction IMO. Butttt like czeczy said, a jy visit is needed to fix the body. Also lower it some. It always helps the look of a car.

Also the red sheet metal. Wuts up with that... Looks tacky.

Well, if you call that nice, I wonder what you think ugly looks like...

If you can not stand people (who do not share your taste) being negative about the car, don't put it on here.

    Re: Nice

that car looks like it came out of the JunkYard lol

i would consider doing some body work and a lil bit of cleaning on the inside...i hate seeing dirty cars ha ha also the color... well um i think your busting a CAH lol no offense i know it just a color but that color does not suit a 3g from my point of view. but good shit! just fix the body and your set.

That red sheet metal is a lip i made to help scoop in cold air through the vent on my front bumper. I won't run the intake tubing/filter out into the front bumper for fear of Hydrolock. So i just made a lip to help scoop air into the front bumper. The red paint was the only paint i had at the time. It was to use that or drive 25 miles to the nearest store. I have black paint for it, just been lazy.
As for lowering it, i'm not going to spend $1k on suspension, but i did find blue moog cc246 springs f/s [60$] and i gotta admit, my rear shocks are DOA. What's everyones opinion on those shocks? When i called Federal Mogul about them, they told me that they were a direct stock spring replacement. 1.5" drop. And the springs are rated 1.5×stronger than our stock springs. Opinions? Advice?

As for a JY visit, im just SOL. Only JY i found to have ANY 3geez and ludes crushed them all right after i nabbed a prelude a2k5 trans.
The turn signal replacements are too much for me to worry about. Ill wind up getting plexiglass, cutting them to shape, putting it in the oven and molding it. Both sides turn signal lense have broken off before i got the car. Fenders need replaced and theres a dent on the passengers side trunk body panel i have no clue how ill get out.

    Re: Nice

if ur struts are blown, dont put stiffer springs on them... thats some 'day one' shit. and let Lost keep all the purple wiring ang tubing that cover hoses and stuff.
just fix your shit and stop painting it pink, and adding pink tubes.
and those 'air scoop' canards arent gunna do a damn thing.

    Re: Nice

seriously, look in some car magazine, any kind of car magizine, and show me pix of neon pink stock rims that are 5 inches higher than the rear, and have neon pink and purple hose covers on everything. there is a reason you wont see it elsewhere...
save the time and money for real mods, not that stuff...

like tdurr said, some cars can pull off a lil bit of pink as an accent or trim, not just painting random shit.
