car decided not to start today. i think ignitor went out but im not 100% sure at all. hopefully ill be able to get it fixed tomorrow. its on jack stands and ill be tearing it apart when i wake up.
and to whats in the box(or was at this point) here:
its not powder coated becasue i have to get my front engine mount welded on, but after that id like to get it coated, idk if its gonna happen because of time frame and the fact this is my only car. Im half thinking i might have to get it to a shop this week and just get the turbo kit and tune done and bite the bullet on price.
Weak spark maybe?
Woot that's good.

Yeah when I get the funds il need to upgrade my distributor to an external coil. I just want to get k series coils but the swap cost too much money

Yes I would be eliminating the distributor and would have to get the aem pick up. Only reason is because I beieleve my dizzy is leaking and making a mess on my tranny. New dizzy with less than 30k already leaking and I could not change the rotor for the life of me. I picked up an OEM one from honda and it has a screw on the side but my dizzy does not. I even turned the engine and with a mirror I was looking and I just gave up and swapped In a new cap and it seams to work but not to my standards. Higher standards

Weird. The rotors are a pain to get off. I used a screwdriver to pry it loose then ended up dropping the dizzy and breaking the coil. I raged so hard. But meh, I'd just get a jy dizzy and swap all the parts over, or just see about a warranty on the 30th one.
But small update, I had to do some sort of work on the car, it's been on jack stands for 2 days, and so I just got done taking this out,
To make room for this
And now it looks like this
I haven't driven it yet but I'm bout to go run some errands so yea, I'll get a feel for it real soon.
Edit: test drive was great. I had a shutter when engaging the clutch from a stop and now it's pretty much gone. Idk why but w/e. You definitely can feel the engine vibrations at idle tho. Anything under 1100rpm you get a nice shake in the steering wheel. Great upgrade all together.
Your old mount looks like mine. I was too cheap to replace it but oh well. I'm not sure if I could live with the vibrations from the stiffer mounts. Not that i really need them anyway!
That's the best part about upgrading the mounts. It really tightens up how the drivetrain feels. Clutch engagement feels more solid and you don't get that mushy feeling on transitions between acceleration and deceleration.
And the vibration is the worst at idle. But who really cares about idle?
