    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Thanks, I gotta go and get some new fittings for my catch can. It could be set up a whole lot better on the vc breather. But ill worry about that in due time. Right now im haveing some pretty not cool oil leaks on the head(vc and dizzy oring I think). They run down the whole block and I cant tell if thats the only leak or not :/

But I did manage to get an aglinment today. Still -4 degrees of camber in the front, but the rear is at a 1.7. Also found out that the driver side toe adjustment is frozen/rusted to the bushing so ill have to work on getting that fixed soon.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

welp, changed out my vc gasket and polished the letters/lines on my vc today. Also cleaned up the tranny a bit from the oil leak on the vc and/or dizzy oring. ill find out soon if the dizzy oring is bad or not. But in the process of doing all that i ended up breaking my coolant temp sensor. Gotta fix that tomorrow(i have a spare clip it just got dark) other then that car is running good. Oh also, when i went to get my aglinment we found out that the driver side toe adjustment nut/bolt is ceased to the bushing so i have -1.2 degrees of toe on ONE tire. -_- gotta source a whole new rear "sub frame" idk if that what it is called. But ill prob hit up a jy soon and order some of the LCA's from Jordan.

Heat the bushing up with a torch. You will need to replace the bushing but its cheaper than a new rear frame. Same thing happened to mine. The toe bolt and nut are still available through Honda (or junkyard)

So torch the bolt off (cut through the bushing if necessary, may need to replace the control arm though)

Yea, you gain ALOTT of space when you put it in. I do plan on taking a few pics today to send explicit speed. Where the lca bolt up, the part there is a bit tall. To install it I had to pull the lca out, then tighen the bolts, then hook the lca back up. Then it looked like if your car wantlsnt lowered as much as me, your axel would rub on the bolt head. I will try and get some solid pictures today tho.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

well for those who dont know, i dropped a bolt in my transmission when i was swapping out the speed sensor... ruined my day yesterday. it fell in the hold for the speed sensor, and i just heard splash tink tink.... so much range ensued. but after some cursing, prayers, and a LOT of luck with a flexible magnet i managed to get this.

it took me like 5 hours to get that out of there. but i was about to get ready to pull the transmission to get it out.

BUTTT what i set off to do yesterday was change out the transmission fluid with this:

had a grind in 2n gear, and got tired of it. No grind now but i did find this on my fancy pants drain plug.

yea pretty nasty if u ask me.

ALso got some in the air photos of the traction bar. to show the tight fit of the lca bolts.

    Driver side

    Pass side

the bolts were so long they smacked the axel and shock fork.

And random pic time, saw this thing at work.

had a built SRT4 motor in it. guy said it was making 740ish to the wheels. talk about a crazy swap.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

i Did a small bit of work on the car this morning. I replaced my ECT plug. one of the wires broke off and so ecu wasnt getting any signal. I also replaced my dizzy cap(again). I now have a back up! I thought it fit the color theme of the bay. You will see the pics. and I snapped a few close up of the vc letters. I didnt think to mask anything off cuz it was so spurr of the moment random that i polished them. anyways enough text, here are some pics!

That is the fix for the parasitic battery drain in coupes. It's about the most elegant solution I've found.
