yea it does suck alot. Im also having a bit of a sputter once i shift and get into WOT. Tuner said hit a datalog and then he will clean up the map for me. I prob will hit a dyno one day just to see exactly where it stands. Im having some cooling issues still. Idk if its the rad is too close to the manifold getting heat soaked, Or of the t-stat/wp needs to be replaced. Ill prob replace them both one day here soon once i get everything else squared away(or while the car is on jack stands lol)
buttt super side not, im ordering parts to do a 5speed swap on my cressida. why? Because fuck you thats why.

Ehhhh so plans kinda changed today. Was getting off the interstate and went to go into 3rd and was locked out. Tried all the others and nothing besides 5th. So i guess i have to pull the transmission sooner than i wanted. I may try my hand at pulling it apart and fixing it. Idk i still dont trust myself but ill think about it. But cressida 5speed is gonna be on hold. I just got to fix my bad cam seal. I just wish i had 2 days in a row off from work -_-

Tim it's not as bad as you would think. Just take your time and lay the parts out in the order of removal. One of the large nuts behind 5th gear cover is reverse thread. Keep that in mind. Take plenty of pics.
If you remember when I was racing those stangs in mexico, the Trans popped out of gear (3rd) under full power and would not engage till I shut the car off. After that it would shift normal under normal conditions. Under power it would not shift into 3rd. I tore it down 2 or 3 times not able to find the problem. It turned out to be the internal shifter assembly was ever so slightly bent.

nah i haven't. Long story short a I got an opportunity in work out in Vegas in till December. It kinda just popped up so I didnt get to pull the trans out yet. But ill be getting it sorted out as soon as i get home. But while im out here ill be ordering parts....(like internals hehe)
