my cressida is the Champ - Brag Mode - JZXProject

bump. this is why I havent fixed the accords trans.

edit: this is half the reason. other half is my garage has 2 non working cars in them still and I cant get the owners to finish them up. -_-

jz as in motor code. Meaning is it the Supra motor

Conquest is a mitsi product? Damn that an old one I remember when they came out. I cant remember what motor.

I'm am a firm believer that older Japanese cars are the next hot thing.

Yea its a na supra/sc300/is300 engine. Did arp head studs and a turbo headgasket so its pretty much solid to make my 400hp goal. I still want the accord to be the fast car that I daily. But until I get my garage back it wont happen. -_-
conquest/starion are the old misti cars. turbo 2.8L motors that have the worlds most restricting intake. Stupid fun to drive tho. my friend had one back in HS and it was the shit. I'd agree/have always thought older jap cars were the best thing ever. Ive only owned cars from the 80's lol

I actually got the garage back like 2-3 weeks ago. I cleaned it up then pulled the trans last wed. Dropped itnoff at a different shop and they found the ring & pinion wasn't meshing all the way so the ring gear is missing chunks of all the teeth. Lots of metal was floating around in the trans. Not happy. I just hope the lsd isnt bad. Imma go trans hunting at the junkyard sun/monday & hopefully find something. I'll post updates when I get info. Also ill edit with a few pics later.

Lol those guys are twisted but i like it. The whole no dealing with" what offsets look good on my car?!" shit is what should be the standard. Lol im just saying tho. Also i drove the cressida home the other day. I gotta get a few things figured out before the car is 100% road worthy but she has 25 miles on the engine & one small peel out

Ahhh damn dude. That's really a piss off! Like you said, I hope the LSD is OKAY and best of luck finding a replacement. I know when I went to the junker a while ago 3geez are becoming fewer and fewer.

This little beasty needs to get going again!

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

I actually found a trans and dropped it off friday at the shop. hopefully it can get rebuilt this week. But yea there were only 5 accords in the local jy's around here that use to have like 10-20 at each one. makes me sad. I kinda wanna find a 5speed coupe to buy as a parts car. But even if i found one, I dont have anywhere to store it :/ but hopefully next weekend it will be on the road again. Thats a big hope there lol.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Sorry to here about your sister bro.

Now are you ready for a A2B plate. Its would be about the same cost as a rebuild stock trans. Then you can buy a lsd that fits with out any modification. And if you should break the next trans you can invest in something more bullet proof.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Thanks for the kind words folks.

Part of the reason its so much is they had to tear apart 2 transmissions before I found a spare to get rebuilt. so yea thats a bit of the cost there. I shouldnt have any problems with the trans after this time.

During the test drive this happened. Damn driver axel unseated. Axel was a bit funky installing it. I dont have enough money to pick up a new one. I popped the axel back in and hopefully it won't come back out. If it doesn't, expect a sweet burnout video tomorrow night.

Also here is some trans carnage photos.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Well update. After buying a new axel, stretching out the c clip and lots of honda mtf(trying to be fancy) ended up getting an unopened trans and car is moving again. Looks like the lsd is the cause of my axels not staying in. Guess i have to get a new lsd(prob wont go obx)
