    Re: Tdurr's round two!

    Because you asked so nicely

3 row x-line radiator because the old one heatsoaked wayyy to fast.
So blew my first paycheck to make it so i can sit in traffic without having the heat on full blast to keep the engine temps down. But huge difference in the size of these fuckers. Like the 3row is a sold 3/4ths of an inch thicker. Had to do some more cutting and hammer work to make the rad fit but got it in fairly easy. Anyways more pics.

    Only gripe is this.

The fan shroud is a tad close to the manifold. But didnt seem to matter when I let it idle for 15min

Are you also using the mishimoto fan and shroud? I have seen many b swaps with 500-800 hp and they do just fine with a half size rad.

yes I am. I purchased that last year sometime. I think with the 2core it wasnt enough coolant in the system to get rid of the heat fast enough. Our Iron blocks hold heat 2x as much as b series.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Well small update. The other week while sitting in stop & go traffic my clutch pedal started sticking. I was like 4 miles from my house. Thought it was the throw out bearing took trans off and everything saw it was fine. Had a replacement on the way figured I'd just replace it & the new o e didn't fit -_- so frustrated left it alone to drink. Then next day I pulled on my clutch cable and the fucker wouldn't move.... Guessing the manifold melted the inner section of the cable. Got a new one for 15 bucks and suckers works great. Grabs even better than before.

I need to get my ramhorn ceramic coated.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

I had a similar problem like this about 5 years ago I pulled the transmission checked everything out everything was good .come to find out it was a little metal mechanism that holds the clutch cable under the dash broke. So everytime I hit the pedal the metal would just bend. So had to cut it out .now I have a big washer that hold the cable to the firewall

well not alot a pictures but some words for the sake of the thread.

Went to Gridlife south in Aug, was super dope. Got super drunk made some new friends. saw some sweet drifting, even saw another 3g!

Also melded 2nd clutch cable while i was there.

After i got a replacement I finally added the heat wrap to it. I haven't melted this on yet so its working.

then a week or two later noticed that my car was clunking under load, ended up finding my driver side motor mount was busted. So ordered the only replacement worth it

then I was feeling froggy after payday and ordered this...

Just the shifter. I picked up the strut bar a while ago(i have a rear installed atm)

So I went to install the shifter this past weekend and found out i was missing some sweet factory spacer or something. gotta order one of those to have a perfect feeling shifter. I also readjusted my valves(took some pics for the how to if you guys want to update it. just pm me for them), then redid my fuel pump relay with some nicer & waterproof stuff. My old one melted for no good reason. after replacing the relay and readjusting the valves cars rides so much nicer. gas mileage is up and Its starting to get cold so i get a cool lope at idle.

Ill get pics of the shifter once I get the last parts installed to make it 100%

also random shot of the car after a wash.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Meh ill worry about it later lol. Doesn't bother me atm.

Since in typing guess ill say that I'm thinking about doing a tablet for a cluster as my speedo stopped working when its cold as balls(Idk why, weirdest shit ever) been kinda wanting to do this for a while so i guess imma start researching parts and what not. Anyone know of how to get rid of the speedo cable to be able to send a bad to the ecu? I know factory set up runs off the cluster itself, so I'm thinking of running a d series vss and wire it into the way or something.

That mount is from Cheddas Auto - 1986 - 1989 Accord.

He doesnt make a rear mount but a member here makes an adaptor for the front & rear that you can use a 23 dollar poly mount from any auto parts store.

Hmm really? I know Neptune has a display you can just plug into the ecu and run that way. And power supply wouldn't be a big deal. Just a relay the runs off acc power to give it 12v.

TunerView RD1 – Welcome to HRTuning

Is a real option. For 300 all you need to do is wiring and it works with the ecu flawless. Only problem would be speedo sensor because it runs off a cable

Ah ok. Well see what I decide. I see that guy sells a front traction bar setup. Might do that.
