Yea I would try the dish soap too.

The fender washers are pretty cool, better then the stock ones since they always get beat up and stripped of paint.. well in my case at least haha.

    Lookin' good.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Hell yea its unversal! Lol just type in fender washer on ebay. 99% are standard honda sized 10mm.

Also i replaced the brushes in my alt:

And replaced the water pump while i was in there and the cars batt is more charged but wont run unless its hooked up too the batt.
Aka i did the pulled the neg off the bat while running test and it failed. Any ideas?

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

Pull the neg cable off? Im old schoOl and wouldn't even do that, maybe the pos cable. Check the see thru fuses unser the hood, if the white alt wire shorted even briefly it pops the hi amp fuse.
May wanna check bulk connectors where you did the wire tucks
, could have a wire pulled out?
Of course the voltage reg is prime suspect like A18 said.

How much voltage are you putting out atm? I'm guessing the regulator is out too.

    Also, the game.

    Re: Tdurr's round two!

    Haz i hate you.

And yea its the easiest way to test an alt, disconnct th batt while the car is running. If it dies mean alt is shot.

As far as the wire tuck went, i dont think i did anything to the wires that had to do with the alt besides the fusebox, abd that was just re routing wires, no cutting.
But ill find out how much voltage im putting out soon, i have no micrometer at my apt.

Idk km picky bout color combos, but do it, u never kno what works man esp with cars lol

Lol super late update, car died on my way to work the other day, was stick 4 exits from where i needed to be. decided that it had to be voltage reg. So i swapped out the brushes and runs/starts like a champ now.

Also im not going to basic next week. Tbey had me in the system for the wrong job and yea.... I want my bonus instead. So ill be in ga till further notice.

Still unpacking stuff from the move past weekend & finding parts... Makes me sad but yea i found this today :

-_- i was checking to find out why my brakes were soft & squeaky and saw that. So list of stuff i need to fix in order is:
    1. Master cylinder
    2. Axel/ rear upper ball joints
    3. Shot/missing bushings
    4. Oil leak(i think it's the headgasket).
    5. Exhaust(its all sorts of rigged from p.o.)

Oh man. Sucks about that boot. I hate how one cheap piece of rubber going bad will ruin an expensive axle.

This. And it doesn't even Click when turning, just when I go from a dead stop... At first I thought it was a bad mount, but then I remembered I had that soils front mount so it couldn't be.
