They keep the belts from locking when you have the door open.

Ha ha...... Thanks Snooz. I disconnected both plugs today and now I get the flashing seatbelt symbol on the dash with the chiming noise. I even pulled the fuse from under the hood and I still get the chiming noise when I start the car up
it like the headlight buzzer or the door buzzers its under the dash.
welp, i got a powdercoating gun from Mushroom_toy the other day and have been itching to test it out. Got the pins from the flushmount hood pins that ive had chilling stripped then powdercoated.
here are some pics (i forgot to get a before and after)
^^^^ curing the powder.
Finished product.
then i went and ordered a bunch of powder because i got paid today... lol so ill start powder coating stuff in the bay soon... cuz i can now.. muhahahahaha
Beautiful results with the hood pins. How do you expect the finish to hold up?

powder coating is great the only better thing is cerakota but its twice as much.
I do it for guns and was thinking of doing the cerakote slip on the pistons for my engines.
legit. me and my roomate have been talking about getting our guns done.
also, status update.
was heading home from picking up dinner and went to pull off from a stoplight, and just heard some banging. Then found this.
so had to get it towed home. Then i got it pulled out and found this.
went to napa to get a warranty exchange, and the fuckers closed a hour early today. why? nobody fucking knows, but now i have to get a ride in the am hopefully before work so i can get a non crappy paycheck -_-
Well, today I went to honda abd got this:
& was able to do this
Went to go for a test drive then it almost happened again. My motor was sagging hard, did some searching and found this:
Put the rear tq mount back on, and its driveable again. I think I might have to fab up a solid rear mount to fix this.
Yeah, something is way wrong here. Did the rear engine/trans bracket lose a bolt and slip or something? Or is it bent? Because that bracket should be parallel with the top of the rear cross member.

When you put the upper torque mount back on, does the rear mount go back to looking like the first picture? Comparing the the two pictures, the position of the engine/trans bracket is very different in the second one. Either that bracket is bent (or missing a bolt) or the engine is sagging towards the front a LOT.
