I eat rice, I drive rice!
40mm, 42mm, 43mm and 45mm offset's are all ok. It's when you go lower than 40mm, that you will start to have problems being able to run the tire sizes you need to run to do proper plus sizing, let along being able to have the width you'd like.Originally posted by 89HatchAzn

Yes the teg and civic alloy's and steelies will work just fine. The alloys like for the teg gsr and the civic SI are 45mm offset, they will work just fine with 205/50-15 or 195-55-15
BTW, all generations of civic rims and teg rims will fit.
H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads

Oh I almost forgot. When I said a years of teg rims will fit, that of course doesn't mean the 5lug type R rims. So almost all![]()

1st gen accord, civic and prelude are all 4x120mm so they won't fit either.
It didn't occur to me that anyone would pull rims off those cars, but I will certainly file that into memory chris, thanks:super:Originally posted by pearldrop

I have 17x7.5 Racing Hart C2's with a 42mm offset and it is a perfect fit (without cutting or rolling the lip). I was washing my car the other day and it was on uneven ground and the rear wheel was tucked perfectly so you may only fit 2 quarters between the tire and the lip. I never saw it tucked like that before and didnt realize what a good fit it really was. But my tires are not as wide as i was thinking of getting they are 205's. so anything larger would need to have the lip cut/rolled.
yeah, don't do what i did.
I can gladly back jim up in his words of running with the wrong offset. I'm running with 205/50's on my 15's and with stock height, go ahead, knock your socks off, go get a 35mm offset b/c it will not affect you until you lower that s.o.b. Then, if you got that 35-38mm offset, your up shits creak without a set of rims for ur car. Unless you don't give a shit about scrub-a-rub-a-dubba-dub-scrub-rub everywhere you go. Rolling up the fenders is not a good idea on these cars either b/c then you begin to make more of a gutter for the water to lie stagnant which will eat away that fender 3x faster then normal. Really the only way to get away with that, although not cheap, is to get the fender cut down, then the ends frenched in, then the rust proofed to death.
Anyway, I've got somehwere bet. a 35 and 38mm offset, and thanks to good 'ol (fuckin) B&G, i'm sitting a good 2.5+" lower to the ground, (with no hopes of clearing a pebble in the road) and beating the shit out of the tires and fender in the rear, along with catching the front on the top of the fender at least once a day.

my rims fit on my formerly owned '92 tegra ...... too lazy to get the tires switched over![]()
my rimz are 42mm offset. 17x7.5 Helo Lotus.
Cant slam it like I want rims and tires a lil too wide
Jigga225, if you go with 205's it should work. Mine barely clear the rear lip but it does and i didnt touch it. I would like wider tires but then i have to worry about them rubbing. My friend has wider tires and it tore up all the plastic in the front wheel wells when he turns.
