Radio Troubles

[12v]

I've tried, and tried... but I can't find anything on the net to help me hook up this stereo system. The headdeck is some el cheapo brand not too sure, but could someone possibly tell me the colour codes for these wires.

I'm a musician who can't listen to music in his car, someone please help

not too sure if the color of the wires are the same as the later model hondas but if they are, the wires coming from the car are:

function ............................color/stripe

12v constant .....................white/yellow
12v accesory .....................yellow/red
12v ground ........................black
dimmer (lights) ...................red/black

Left front (+) .................... Blue/Green
Left front (-) .................... Grey/Black
Right front (+) .................. Red/Green
Right front (-) .................. Brown/Black
Left rear (+) ..................... Blue/Yellow
Left rear (-) ..................... Grey/White
Right rear (+) ................... Red/Yellow
Right rear (-) ................... Brown/White

and from your head unit will most likely be like this:

Memory (+12v Constant) 	Yellow
Ignition (+12v Switched) 	Red
Ground (-) 	Black
Power Antenna 	Blue
Amplifier Turn-on 	Blue/White


Right Front (+) 	Gray
Right Front (-) 	Gray/Black
Left Front (+) 	White
Left Front (-) 	White/Black
Right Rear (+) 	Violet
Right Rear (-) 	Violet/Black
Left Rear (+) 	Green
Left Rear (-) 	Green/Black

just match those up and you should be good as gold. I would also recommend grounding the stereo straight to the car

See that red and yellow adaptor, should I just snip all those wires and solder em to the harness that fits into the stereo or solder em back to the adaptors?
