    Exclamation blower motor stop working

Ok so I went out to start my car today because the battery is weak. It's been -25 for a couple of days,so car starts up but when I turned on defrost nothing happens.I turned it on full and nothing, switch to heat, vent nothing but can hear the buttons functioning .Checked fuse 22 under hood and 12 and 14 under dash and they were good. Why would this happen like this since yesterday. If it's the resister or motor I can't fix it in this cold, but won't be able to drive it either.

Take a dead-blow hammer or screwdriver handle or hair brush or something and give the blower motor a good solid crack on the motor housing. You don’t want to dent it, just jar it good. If it starts working, it’s time for a new motor.

blower motors are famous for filling up with water and crap in general.
and at -25 degrees, any water will have frozen solid and seized it up good.
any hoo, they arnt hard to change if its shagged

Sound like the blower motor. If it was the resistor, it would work on high.

If it doesn't work, check to see if you have power at the blower and also check to see if there's ground. It should have power as long as the key is in the run position. If you have both power and ground at the plug, than its the motor. Let me know if its a power or ground problem and we can go from there.

Well went out today to start the car,I turned on the blower and it worked. But notice not much coming out unless it was on high, hope it stays working cause it's to cold to work on it.I guess it could have been froze, but maybe it's the resistor.

I am not familiar on how similar the heating system is in the Accord compared to the 5G civic but when I removed the blower I found a good share of leaves packing the insides of the blower turbine. Once removed, the airflow improved a bit. I still have a good deal of "lint" hanging on the A/C evaporator so my airflow in that car is still "asthmatic", but it is definitely better than before.

If the resistor were the problem it should still work on high though.
If it ain't broke... I fix it!

There is no trick. The ends of the metal control rods are barbed. The only way to remove the knobs is to pull them off, which will require a great deal of force to accomplish. When they come off, some material will pull out the backs of the knobs. So basically, you'll have to break them. Fortunately, they will still work well enough when you put them back on.
