    New to the Site. 87 Accord LX

    Whats up guys. Just recently bought a 87 Accord LX. I bought it from an older lady who kept this car in absolute mint condition. The interior looks like it's never been used, and the backseat actually was never sat on. I picked the car up for $500, so I kinda stole it. LOL It has 208,000 on it and I have a lot of plans for her. Should have pics up soon. Later

    Thanks man! I have some coilovers ordered for it now. I have already stripped a ton of the stuff off the engine. I have gotten rid of the black box, cruise, and all the vacuum stuff. I also have new cv axles and axles seals at the shop about to go on. I am having a hard time deciding what wheels I want. I thought maybe after I lowered it, spacing out the steelies an inch and see how I liked it, but I just don't know what I want!

    That's the same way I got my hatchback, lol. An old lady was the original owner of it and she had kept the interior perfectly mint as well. They must be good at that. lol.

    I really wanted Ground Controls because I had them on my CRX and loved them. But money is kinda tight right now so I went with Megan coilovers. I hope they work out. They are 450lbs front and 350lbs rear. Hope I didn't screw up. LOL

    I was personally curious if you're going to do an efi swap, since you took out the black box. How's that coming along? (I'm interested in it too,

    I will probably not do a efi swap because I kinda like the old school carb on this engine. I built my CRX to haul ass around and hit the track a little bit, but this Accord I just want to cruise and make it comfortable and super clean. So I love this engine. And I have taken a huge box full of stuff off the engine. The black box, cruise, tons of vacuum switches, and lines! The car actually runs better and smoother after removing all the useless crap off this motor!
