the plastic dosent pop out.its glued in and the only way to get it out ...its to break it ....they make white transparnet paint? are you trying to get it too look like clear tails ?

i have a 87 honda accord lx. i just did my lights clear like yasu did his. If you invest in a heat gun so you don't break the lights it works very well. all my old lights are still pretty much good.

I took out the light fixture as a whole. take out all the wiring and heat up the back og the light frame. you have to start at one side and work your way to the or carfully, not to crack the lens. it takes a while cuz of the black sealant that was on before is real hard.................by the way i saw some on here that had the reflective clear lenses that are inside of the lights....does it look better with then in or out with the clear lens so that the bulbs don't show???????

what did you use to reseal them back onto the car.
