It works for the weber 38 so with the adapter on our cars would a setup like this work? I found it kind of interesting so I figured I would post it.
    '89 LX-i Coupe Auto 308,xxx miles R.I.P.
'88 DX Coupe 5-speed 210,xxx miles and still going

that is basically just an aftermarket electronic controlled GM TBI unit that the throttle body fits the Weber base plate. The vehicles listed, mostly European, are ones that came factory with a weber 38.
Buzo a member here made one of these to fit the oem Honda carbed manifold.

there a lot of companies selling these plug and play EFI. There aimed at replacement for carbs.

I have worked on TBI in the distant past - my dad's 1984 Renault Encore. It's really low tech, but a big step up from a carb.

if you want to convert to efi, youll be wayy ahead in the headache and wallet department to swap to the stock EFI from an LXi/SEi. Youll also get better drivability and power plus your using off the shelf parts

I'm interested in this not for my accord which already has been converted with stock parts, but for my hilux, because Toyota changed intake patterns 63 times in 4 years and no such stock conversion option exists.

Adapting a GM TBI to fit a Weber 38 pattern wouldn't be that hard. Finding an ECU and getting it tuned would be harder (although still not that bad). Buzo's Megasquirt project is exactly this.
