    Hatch

What's up everyone, my names Tyler and I do not own, nor have I ever owned a 3G accord. I actually own a 2005 Ford Focus hatch, which I'll post pictures later on. A friend of mine had an 89 (I believe) Accord lxi, and blew to motor, junked it, and is in the process of buying it back from the yard, if he's unable to buy it from the yard he'd like to get another 3G coupe that we have some plans for. You're either going to love it or hate it. I'm joining this forum to expand my knowledge of this particular platform, and I hope you guys can help myself and my buddy throughout this build.

    Now on to my car!

    Re: Hatch

Nice Focus hatch. I've always liked those. I've shopped around for them in the past, but never when I was seriously looking for a new car, as I would be driving one right now if that were the case.

While we're a website about old Hondas, we welcome anyone driving anything to participate in discussions on the board.

    Re: Hatch

Thanks everyone. I actually got the car after someone rear ended and totaled my 97 Jetta, and I had plans of leaving it bone stock and just saving for another Jatta, but that obviously didn't work. Lol. And my username is something I came up with after I got the car because everyone had such low expectations for it, and I also think people have the same view of the 3rd gen Accord. Even tho I know there's a lot of potential with these cars!

Dam I was going to get mad at first but I see your purpose now. That's actuly a nice focus. Usually I don't like ford at all. I'm more chevy. Anyways for your friend you can find just about anything you need to hget done on the accord. Welcome from California

    Re: Hatch

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I've never been a Ford guy either. Lol. I started off into minitrucks and my first car was an 87 s10, then I even traded for my 97 jetta, which was my favorite car. And now I have this. Lol. Although I've never had an accord, I do have a lot of respect for them, third gen and earlier especially just because not a whole lot of people do anything with them. And that's something I've always drawn my own inspiration from.

    Re: Hatch

For a while, I did the minitruck thing, too. I had a '92 Nissan that I was working on. When I wrecked that, I carried the theme to my beater Jeep Cherokee.

I've never been much of a brand person, especially after hanging out over on the Grassroots Motorsports forum.
