    Vacumn line hose # 12

I have had alot of problems trying to figure out this idle serge problem i have been having,, I just noticed that i had the hose line #12 that goes off of the vacumn box and it has the little thing in the line on back wards ...

DO you guys think that because i had this on backwards that this is why my idle was serging...cant wait to start it in the morning to find out ..don't want to wake everyone up right now by starting the car in the garage

Is the "little thing" a check valve perchance? That could definitely cause some vacuum leak type issues. Let us know how it turns out.

try screwing down the fast idle? spray stuff around time to find the leak? check the idle screw too... have had issues there before. Ended up covering one with gasket sealer
