    Dutch '80 accord

    Hi,

    Here is my Accord from 1980, with 75.000km on the tacho..

    It's just respraid in the original color..

    No,

    The interior is the original. I bought the car with a nasty dent in the rear left fender from the first owner.
    The was also some rust on both rear wheel arches, so i welded some new metal in and let someone respray the complete car.

    You should do the engine bay/rebuild next. I'm almost done with my mechanical restoration and 90% of it can be done in a driveway.

    Lovely. I haven't seen one in that colour for a very long time (Quite different from the blue-er '81 colour). Your car makes it beautiful.

    Shipping/sales to Europe must have been slow, since that would be '79 model year anywhere else!

    That is one beautiful car! So good to see that someone in the world is taking care of them. It seems to be quite a bit more prevalent in Europe for people to keep up the old Hondas, while they are so throw-away here.
