Yo, been looking at 3geez for along time finally joined. I have a 1987 Honda accord lxi that is khaki colored and kinda ghetto. I'm going to rebuild the engine hopefully within the next 2 weeks. My main question is there any special Honda tools I'm going to need for the engine dis assembly and assembly? and is a chiltons book going to cut it for a rebuild? Also what rebuild kits are recommended and readily available? If the cylinder walls are in good shape should I just hone them or would you guys recommend .020 or .040 bore and will it make a difference in power at all?
