i bought some new rims finally, 17" American racing Estrellas. they look really awesome with a 40 series tire. but i still have a little room and i wanna lower it about an inch and maybe more in front. I was told the car was lowered but it had lower profile tires on it. is there anyway i can tell?

Look under there and if you see a spring other then the color of grungy, gross black then it hasnt been touched. The stock springs are really thin and pansy looking too..

Look and see if your front and back are the same height. Look for a red or blue spring. But they could be really black from being dirty, so get a flashlight.

the springs are pretty thick, and they're black, i took a closer look when i did my auto to 5speed swap, but all i found were black springs and KYB struts.... the kyb's made me think lowered , and the front has seemed to sit a tad higher than the rear forever, maybe like a 1/4 or 1/2 inch at the extreme most
