    Washed and Waxed the '89

Washed and waxed the '89 LX, it's looking surprisingly good for its age!
Now if I could only find a nice set of chrome Honda centre caps for a 13" rim I would get rid of those hubcaps..

Dam that is a nice shine man. I'm jealous! For the rims check out some 14" SEi alloy rims. They would still look like the 3rd gen era and have a little flare to your car
    Low loud lovin it!

Wow. Even the roof has an outstanding shine! I may be mistaken, however I don't recall the weatherstripping on the roof ever being any color but black originally. I'm guessing the car was repainted at some point?

^ You mean for DX's and LX's, right? (CDM S and LX.) It looks repainted to me due to the side window trim not having any paint, and the rear window trim having perfect paint, and because the S and LX should have black weatherstripping on the roof to match the door handles, bumpers, etc.

I would rock some clean steelies over mismatched, wrong-era hubcaps any day.

The weatherstripping may have been replaced but the car has never been repainted to my knowledge.

The car has 147500km on it (5000 by me) and was stored inside for its entire life, so the paint never had a chance to really fade. What you're seeing now is the result of two coats of Nu-Finish paste wax!

The car is pretty well dead stock with the exception of a modest aftermarket sound system. It has been undercoated every year since it was new and there is VERY VERY minimal rust.

I've got four winter tires on it right now (13s) and I'm kind of looking at options for summers. I had Michelin Harmony tires on my previous car and absolutely adored them, but this car had Motomaster (Canadian Tire brand) tires on it when I bought it. I'm trying to decide whether I should just buy 2 more 13 inch summers or get some 14" rims for a larger selection of tires. If I could find a good deal on some decent alloy rims in Ontario I'd be interested, but I think that it'd also look nice with the black steel rims and chrome Honda centre caps.

Neglect me mentioning the window trim - I don't know why I never noticed that sedans have chrome AND black trim, while hatches and coupes only have black (flake to chrome, haha).

Time to take a hot air gun to that rear bumper!

This is exactly why taking care of your car pays off. I don't understand people who take cars for granted and treat them like shit (by all means enjoy them though ). Take care of them and they'll take care of you. Perfect example right here.
The Garage keeps growing: 1969 Chevelle SS 396, 1984 Chevy K10, 1988 Honda Accord Lx-i. Love 'em all.
