I knew B series was JDM only, but that's about it. What is different about it?

there's a b20 that only came with the 3rd gen accords overseas then another B20 which came in the ludes here, both are completely different, the lude B20 even leans the wrong direction. there aren't any parts that interchange between the two

    Re: VTEC Conversion?

B20a/2/8 are JDM/EDM option, only sedans got ot. B20a5 lude engine is different from Accord one, mainly because it was upright possition mount. Alltho I've seen some neat swaps being done with B20a5 in Aerodecks mainly. As mantioned, gearbox will not fit, only A20 will to another not B-series. if you want to do a conversionn, there is B-series later generation mount kit from Inovarive you can buy and do the B16gay/18 or better yet B20 with B16 heah. Or the best option is A20a3/4 and boost it. Strong engine that will deliver spades of fun in the long run.

Its prttey fnuny how you can raed tihs eintre snetnece with all tehse ellters out of palce...

Yes there is, pistons are higher CR, some seals and if my memmory serves me correct flywheel will fit, meaning you can use light aftermarket aluminum from B20a5 on B20a engine. Search for Carotmans thread.

Did anybody go to the main section for 86-89 Accords on that Andy's auto site. The main picture is my old hatch, maybe that's why they are confused lol.
