1989 2dr coupe SEi

Hi I got my car some time ago, and have been wanting a front lip spoiler, as it looks like it really was ment to have one but Honda saved money and only offered one as a accessory. I couldn't find the original available anymore. I see other 3geez member had used a Volvo 760, but really wanted to keep it honda oem.
I was able to find a craigs lister who was selling a early 90's version and had him bring it by to try it on. it was the right length, he said 88". I bought it had to refinish it and was able to modify to use most of the factory mounting points.

Also had good luck using a SEi (manual transmission version) OEM muffler as a replacement for my automatic. I had to drill out the flange and use a smaller exhaust doughnut. Also had to get a longer springbolt assembly from Napa.

This. The only difference is the holes don't line up, but that's nothing a drill can't fix.

Thanks, for the help! but I already found a Honda civic early 90s lip that was the right length. Had to flatten the center using a torch. then was able to use factory holes and backer nuts. Came out very factory looking.

So, those wheels are for/from a Honda Fit, right? I think they look great on your car. Where did you buy them?

Why thank you, I like the red one you have also. My first Honda was a 1986 tan 4dr lx 5speed, I liked it so much that I was looking for one in the coupe style.
Found this one on ebay, paid a good price but it was garage kept in florida so it's worth it to me. I'm now installing a new leather seat kit from seatcomfort Cal., They seem real nice, but it's a lot of work to get them all back together.

I like yours also, Nice color. How is your leather holding up? Anyone who gets them from seatcomfort now should get them for $95 less than I paid because they used my original seats to make a pattern and should now have it to be able to make them for you.

I just got my sons 1994 Honda civic as a winter car and happen to try the wheels on it, big improvement. So not sure I want to sell them anymore, but I suppose if I were to get my asking price.

I'm changing out my factory bose system to a Kenwood KIV 910 and a new amp, I'm going to try to use the bose speakers, but if anyone is interested in the head unit and Bose amp which works but seems distorted (I've seen a place online in florida that repairs them). I haven't thought of a price so make me offers or call 414-405-1157
