I have the 87 accord hatchback which im pretty sure has the a20 engine, i have put all new crank bearings and main bearings in it, i also put new .20 over pistons and rings at the same time. I do not want to boost it, what else can i do, the head i guess is next so what should i do and where can i get these parts?
Well, does it have the a20a1 or a20a3?
I'm assuming it is fuel injected, so going to guess it's the a3.

Valves
port the head / intake mani
headers
chipped ecu
intake
plugs
wires
removing things such as a/c and p/s help a little bit, the engine won't have to use the extra power to turn those.
read the research and development section on the forum there is plenty of info on there, and you don't chip these computers
