88 trans into 86?

i got a fi 86 hatch, tranny is busted. i know of a good one in a local junkyard. they will bolt up, but would i be able to utilize the sensors off of my core in order to use the 88 trans?

what sensors? the speedometer and power steering sensor I guess? yes those will swap over easily.
manual or auto?

Any 86-89 accord transmission would bolt on.
