    Just got my first car- 89 Accord Lxi- Central Fl

    Hey guys! My name is Calista and I'm from FL, obviously. I just got my first car yesterday. I absolutely love my Accord and I want to set it up really nice. I wanted to join this site in hopes of meeting new people who will help me and give me advice on new exciting things to do with my Accord. I want to keep her as long as she'll last, willing to do anything and everything.
    My car is in wonderful condition for how old it is, the only cosmetic work it needs is a paint job. It's all stock, except for the fact that it's lowered on after market shocks. I'd love to hear everything you guys have to say & let me know any advice/tips/tricks I can do with my new love.

    What part of Central, FL? I'm in Palatka, and we have several Orlando guys, a Deland guy, a Tampa guy, and a couple Ocala guys. Most of us are willing to lend a hand when needed.

    welcome from california... i just bought an 88 lxi 4d last friday... i love it too!!!

    working on all the little things that need to get done on a 24 year old... it will feel like new after i get her back from my master auto technician. my mechanic is an independent but worked for a honda dealer for 20+ years and even raced/autocrossed 2nd/3rd gen hondas... he knows his hondas inside and out.. hope u find a great mechanic... i think that's pretty important... he was so into my car going over it, like a little kid in a candy store...

    Hey that's pretty sweet for a first ride. I started in a '91 Civic Hatch. I've owned a few Honda's now Treat it right and it'll treat you right!
