I bought this baby off ebay for a decent price and wanted to double check that this will go in ok in my 83 auto accord. I am planning on installing a 7 in 2 din cd/dvd/gps/bluetooth monitor in the opening space

I don't want to doubt you but, its appears to have the perfect dimensions to replace the one I have in now and match right up to the dash. I mean it appears to be right on. But are you sure? Has anyone installed one ofthese orswapped one into a 83 sedan?

Could I just swap the 3g e brake console piece as well and shouldn't have a problem? Does it swap nicely?

You could just buy the 2g center console. That drops right in. They're harder to find though, but not really that rare. I see them at the wreckers all the time... ya know, when I actually find a 2g Accord. I've probably left like 50 of them in the yard to get crushed.

Right on. I dont know where you guys talk about seeing all these 2 gees in the junkyards.... im lucky to find a late 80's seriously. So my original question was can i swap a 3g e brake console piece in my 2g sedan? is the ebake centered in the middle or not?
