"Honda Electric Turbo Cold Air Intake Mugen Supercharger Fan System"
Has anyone heard of this electric intake system. According to it you connect it to the gas pedal and when pushed 75% it turns on the fan and sucks in extra air. Suppose to be double the HP of a regular short ram or CAI.
I'm a little skeptical but what are you guys take on it (FAST OR PASS)

That may increase horse power by 2-3 hp in the low rpm range but once you go to WOT you car will be sucking in more air than that little cheap fan can push and you will lose power. Also if you ever pop your hood and u have an electric turbo in your car every single person will laugh at you and you will look like a idiot.
I never would put that mess in a car i just thought it was interesting and wanted to know if anyone had actually really used one

Here's how to get the most out of them after you've been conned into buying one of those: open trash can, place eBay crap in trash can, set trash can on fire, hope the trash can wasn't plastic.

This is so funny. Who makes up this stuff. I wonder if anyone has actually fell for this and got it and how mad they were after they bout it. All them fans on under the hood your engine gonna sound like a Turbine haha lol
It's $200 on eBay for $30 in parts. That's why they make them :p
here's the REAL electric supercharger, this is a very interesting article, once you read it you'll understand why the little fan in the intake does nothing but cause restriction. They do exist,they are designed for boost on initial acceleration and the boost tapers off as rpms increase, you either need a 200 amp alternator to recharge the batteries as you drive, or as he describes it, it's like nitrous, you have to charge the batteries at home, just like filling the bottle.
