    Question "Sleeper" Muffler

I was wondering about muffers that do not have the big ass tip's on 'em. I want a muffler that looks more stock than that but can still give me a good sound. I would also like a muffler that has the offset inlet/outlet pipes instead of center inlet/outlet pipes so that i dont have to modify my exhaust that much. Prices please. Thanks.

You can get the dynomax super turbo muffler. Nice sound, not to loud. They sell for as little as $32 at summit racing.com. As far as the tip goes, you decide what tip to put on, it doesn't come with one so it's size it's up to you. You can go the dynomax site and look at their universal muffler list and pick the one that has the center piping you want, write down its part number and you should find it at summit racing. HINT, try at pick more than one muffler that has what you want from the dynomax site, your more likely to find one that way.

He wants a "sleeper" muffler guys, not a riceboy one. I.E. it sorta looks stock, so people dont think his car is modded. Go with the dynomax.

That Is what I just said. Dynomax super Turbo is a greaat muffler lots of power. Screw the big tip I do not want to be able to plug my exhaust with a softball.

3" is my limit but it has to be rolled on the end and I would not have done it if I did not have the header highflow cat and catback. Anyway 3" with a rolled tip is not to bad but it is my max.

I have trained my girl well just yesterday I heard her make the comparison between tip size and Hp (sarcastic tone: 5 more horse for every inch on the tip right and another 10 for the type R sticker 15 if it has yellow.

Actually, its about 10hp per inch of tip, 50 for Type R, and yellow is the same. Now if the whole car is yellow, thats good for at least 50hp.

i have a 5" APC Intimadator... it's um, not sleeper, but looks and sounds really really mean!

As of now, i took it off, today, i'm workin on welding it into place and also TRYING to place it better... sigh... it's a hell of a job... I need new pipes from my dc headers again... 2.25" worked for me about 2 years ago, they are gettin kinda wierd... gurgling and stuff... i may replace the stuff. or pacesetter it....

Walker makes a good "stock" looking replacement which I think provides around 30% more flow than OEM.
