    Making own Exuast Manifold

I have a welding class and I was wondering if it would be possible to make my own exuast manifold¿ We have from 1 to 3 inch by 1/8 inch thick pipe, would that work, and then weld on the flange, the reason im asking is becuase I want to make it for a turbo.

I'm working on a set of custom headers... but not for turbo applications...

first You should get a turbo and the flange so you know how to route the pipes. you don't want the turbo sitting at a funny angle or ending up hitting the radiator.

get the dimensions off of someone with a pacesetter or a DC, good luck bending the pipes. Ur lucky to know how to butt and tack weld. it would be awsome if u get it right cause, u can be making turbo exhausts just like u said. It will get u a lotta income dude. also, u would be one respected man.
