uh oh i think i goofed when replacing pcv valve cover hole with breather>

all i did was take the hose off the valve cover...put a breather on from my belated talon and took the other end of where the hose used to go and plugged it with a bolt...is this right or wrong?

i dont think i could just leave that hole open since it is a vacuum leak correct?

    thanks

The hole has to have a filter. Its just to release pressure from inside the valve cover.

Not quite clear what u did and why... So now the valve cover short pipe is plugged with a bolt and the hose going to air box on top of carb has a breather ???
IMHO, u just defeated the PCV system which all auto manufacturers had implemented for so many years on their cars..
