200+ ALL MOTOR LS VTEC
Thx..Here's what showed up to my door today. Had some problems with it but there getting worked out as we speak. It's a Btune hi-rise header. This is 1 of 10 ever made . Equal lenght runners. Should give the motor some better pep in the higher RPM range..I'll end up blasting the header and ceramic coat it again to get it it's fresh new look back again.

damn that is one sexy header. what is the best RPM for that header?

Redzone tuned
:O NICE! Somebody needs to make headers like those for the A20!
4ag motors are high-rev motors anyway and don't really wake up til after 4 grand. As of right now with just the stock build, MS2 and the header and exhaust i'm looking at 165-170HP. Stock the 20v Blacktop is 150 to 155HP. I can rev safely to 9 grand but will up grade the head later and will be able to hit 10 grand no problem. I have to run 93 but in JPN these motors run 100 octane which in the US conversion should be 95,96 octane. I'm most likey just gonna start off with 93 with some additives to boost the octane level and on race days run race fuel for peak performance

It's really nice to see the motor in there man, it's coming along well.
Working hard to get this done. Wanted it done before August but stuff happens and funding is sucking right now. I'm happy to get it done by November now. That will be 2 autox, 1 PDX at VIR and some winter slide events before the new year

So it's been a min. since i last posted due to my accident. I'm somewhat recovered enough to do some work and get this build moving so i'm gonna play catch up here wit this post now.....
(Nov 25,2012)
So me being the one-armed bandit i want to still get this project done so i'm pushing on. A while back found this tranny just dropped off on base near a dropzone so i'm now taking it apart to make sure its good and to just overall clean it up.So i dissected it open. Remind you with just one arm and hand tools. It took me double the time to get it open. There was a little bit of water in it but just small surface rust so i'll scrub it down, oil it back up and assemble it and ready to install.
1st gear is the bigger gear so it had the most rust. if it's too bad i'll replace that gear

So i cleaned the top of the tranny cover. I had the bottom part of the tranny soaking in carb cleaner overnite. i got most of the spots deburred. In stead of a paper gasket kit i have some toyotabond so i can put this thing back together. Yeah i have to continue even if it is slower then before. Small work like this it like therapy and it will work on my hand strength. Also lastnight i recieved the last piece of my Levin front. I got my kouki grill. I really won't put it on that much as i'll leave that space open for air flow.
(Dec 09,2012)
So i got the tranny all cleaned and re greesed bearings and lubed the gears before putting the case back together. Need to go to Toyota and get 2 seals and i'm good for the tranny. There was lots of gunk buildup. So here is the list i need to get so far before startup::
radiator w/hoses
1-piece custom driveshaft
Braided fuel lines(for right now just from filter to rail
pickup gas tank in VA
wire 12v pwr source for gas tank
After i get the car up and running ill switch to these 110mm velocity stacks by SQ-Engineering
As well as some Tomei cams but that will follow a few months later as well

So friday i desided to put the tranny back together. Now just need to go to the toyota dealer and get 2 seals and thats done..i;m getting there now. so close. You can't ever put a person down that has the will to fight for it. ...Well i've also been looking into tuft testing the car due to i want to go to VIR for some road racing as well. I'll be getting GT/N2 wing, rear diffuser and panels plate for the underbelly of the car to cut down on the excess drag. As for now we work on the short goal of startup.

I respect your level of hard work, man. Would love to see this Levin in action!
So it's been a min since i last posted on here. Work is still happening even though it's going slow. Gonna be getting surgury in Mid April so trying to get as much as i can do. Picked up a ebay radiator and made my own mounts. and picked up my put together of misc radiator hoses and fuel filter as well. need to make the fuel line next. I had to send back 2 of my end link bars as they were to short so i'll be replacing them as well
Grabbed up a civic radiator
Material for mounts
Stock bottom mounts cut off to make way for the new ones

So i finally eneded up getting the parts and building the panhard/lateral bar for the celica/supra rear end. This is gonna be nice to have to adjust the rear end back to center again. Plus the components are stout on this bar. This is win all the way around for this bar and 4-end links. Saved me about 200 bucks making them myself. Ended up also having to go to my grandpops house in Maryland due to him being in the hospital. Just so happen i Devo's shop Baddline customs was right off the interstate so i stopped by and picked up the gas tank i bought which i was glad i didn't have to wait so i can now start putting this together and wire up the tank. Had to take a pause and study for my security +cert which i passed last week so now off to study of windows7 cert and A+. This past month has been pretty busy for me.
Parts i recieved in the middle of the week
The way you see the bar it is set up for a rolla with stock rear end
The missing link for the celica/supra rear end is in this box
This is the adjuster for the rearend

Bad to the bone!
Nothing like pending surgery to get motivated making leaps of progress on projects..works for me everytime
LOL...Yep....As long as i can get the tranny on i'm good. Really don't need the drive shaft to get it started. Waiting on a Light weight flywheel to come in from Japan which should get here by next week. On top of that i have to get another LSD diff for the DD and check the compression on all cylinders. Car has been hard to start so i think there is an exhust leak which i can't seem to find or one of the cylinder has low compression.

So i had my surgery on the 18th. A 2 hr surgery turned into 4 hours. In the process of getting motion in the elbow the doc pushed so hard it fractured my humerous which is the lower part of the bone above the elbow. They installed a plate and about 9 screws which i was tols it was 2 in the hospital...So agrivating anf this thing is painful. I recieved my new 4-endlinks before the surgury and the springs are now sitting level..Now time to get the 1-piece drive shaft. Need to go and order the front and rear oil seals for the tranny. Endded up having to get a light weight Toda flywheel from Japan as well as a modified timing belt tensioner so the belt dosent jump teeth when in the higher rpms. I finally ended up getting the car accord towed off to the crusher(hated doing that) to make room for the rolla but it will sit in the back yard until i get it running.

So here's a recap of what's been going on with the car. Between therapy, getting ready to get out of the army and now finding a job i'm pretty busy. Went up to Burlington up to Jet-Hot to get my Header coated. Got in coated inside and out. I ended up buying so parts from Japan..Fuel filter/assembly and oil filter relocation w/bigger oil cooler. Been putting in some work for sure. Just need to keep on pushing..almost there now.. ;D
