Painted The Side Window Trim On My 4 Door

It's better than it was. I just sprayed a gloss black and then clear ceramic high heat engine enamel.

Much better than the faded worn off black that was on there.

Had this bumper cover sittin' around for a while now, as you can see the other one has a bit of a dent. Getting ready to do a simple stock color two stage, that way I won't have to jamb it.

And a new fender I had for a while also. The one on the car has a small amount of cancer on it down by the mudflap. Simple daily driver.

That was just after I hit it with a scotchbrite. You can shoot a satin that would look nice.

I found another part I had. Here is my crappy old antenna on my LX-i from the junkyard. I had already cut the plastic line to the motor that operates the the antenna up and down so it is easier not having to deal with that motor in such cramped quarters.

And here is my new OEM Honda one for a DX. So no plastic line to the electric motor to deal with, and it is chrome which I didn't know til I opened the box. I like the chrome look actually.

Thanks... still got a ways to go yet, but it'll get there... eventually, lol. How much was that antenna? I might get a new one when I finish painting my car. The black plastic antenna trim thing on mine has a deep scratch across the top.

Ouch I found the receipt. It was $64.06 +tax. It came to $69.67. But I did want a new OEM one so I don't mind. The DX part # is 39150-SE3-307.

The doors look great. I need to do that to mine. If these were GM cars, that plastic would be all wavy and distorted. You've got some pretty nice parts squirreled away too. Nice work!

I think when my taillight gasket goes, it's going to be replaced with a $4 tube of silicone. Those gaskets are too expensive.

Yep they are pricey. And I read others had done the silicone with great results.
