Interesting. Regarding prosecution, what about prosecuting the banksters that caused the mess in the first place? Unless... you stole the bank, threw the German car to the SF bay, got facial surgery to hide your face (plus beard), and hide in the mountains protected by rattlesnakes and pterodactyles (that thing flying in one of your photos)...

I bought a house on lake erie (lakefront) at a tax forclosure auction and im rebuilding the house into somthing id like to live in. The current house is pretty shot and falling apart. Its also only 800sq ft, basically a glorified cottage. Ill post pics if I get a chance

My buddy and I welded up a frame for his generator today. He has $35 in it, and it's been used once.

Tomorrow, we're going to look at some retail space for a bicycle shop. Hopefully by this time next month, I'll be working on bicycles.

Re: what are you working on?

Working on beer #4 out of the 12 pack of Okanogan Springs 1516 the neighbor gave me for swapping the starter out of his van the other day (80's Chev. 2 bolts, 2 wires. 10 min of work), trying to get my printer to spit out the P2 visa forms I need for an upcomming show. Going to go drink more and heckel the magician and the techs working the show down at casinoland and call it a good roadie friday. Over the next couple days I am going to work on advancing some shows, finishing up the rebuild to the shop truck ramp, and learn all about the nifty new SWR and site analyizer meter we are getting at the shop in preparation for changing out 1400 or so communications radios.

    Yee Ha.

    Where's my damned beer at.

I had thought of that, but the snow pack wasn't great this year and it's barely running now. I'm thinking of putting a few water tanks on the top of the hill and filling them from the creek or well and doing some rainwater harvesting so I can gravity feed the drip hoses for the garden. That's probably my best use of the creek. That and letting the frogs make their unholy racket in it.

Probably not going to happen, which means that we'll all get a lot poorer and more desperate. At least until the revolution. Then it will get worse...

Which is why I'm in the hills now, hoping to be a long way down the road to self-sufficiency by the time that happens. I'm just hoping I can watch civilization burn from a safe distance and not be too impacted when it does.

Fat chance, I know, but I can dream.

I have many brilliant beautiful species but I just like watching them eat. things turn into bloody piranha.
That sounds like an epic hobby. Post pics, please.

of the pond or the bikes being modified. took on another project today actually. 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX7R, blown motor in mint shape. I happen to have my 900 motor from when I installed the 1100 into that frame. Quick rebuild and install. Seems like a pretty easy install. Thats usually when things start getting complicated.

haha, i feel you tim, a lot of times they end up being a bigger pita than just normal banjo fittings. same goes for battery quick disconnects if someone tightens them with a pipe wrench.

I've been considering doing a water feature or a koi pond for my parents house to try and increase the value of the home a little before they sell it.

    EDIT:

neck and arms are tired from putting a skim coat of joint compound on the ceiling. Waiting for it to dry and then I'll sand and paint.

I got a single light for the dark corner pf the bathroom.

And will most likely pick up the matching track light for over the sink.

Re: what are you working on?

No shopping today, my friend was tied up supervising some construction. Such an odd skillset this guy has, he's former EMS, has had a successful motorcycle racing career, has done well as an importer, and has made a ton of money in the stock market. I have a ton to learn from him.

We did, however, get the race car moving under its own power today. I don't have video of that, but I do have cell video of the car running. It's a shame the mic really didn't pick much up, but it's a very loud car. Not bad for under $2000.

    Race car running.

We plan on drag racing on Wednesday, so I should have some times available.

Re: what are you working on?

Currently doing a lot of work towards the 3Gee in preparation for my california road trip.

As of now, I just finished the A/C system. Next step will be to get my idle working properly, pretty sure the FIT valve needs to be cleaned. After that I need to get my cruise control working, and then I will start working on a custom front mount for the b-swap. Besides that I have currently been going through the entire car, and greasing all moving parts. I hope to get auto-up and down features added to both my windows, but that may be a future project after the trip.

I traded a 92 camaro rs for a '82 HD sportster with a '72 1000cc shovel head motor. I am working on re-wiring the entire bike. It will be a fun little project and a first for me to work on a bike.

Have it "stolen" and collect insurance? Or just drive it off a cliff and enjoy the spectacle?
