86 prelude direct bolt on cat

My catalytic converter is clogged up I wanna try cleaning it out but if that doesn't help what's a cat that will bolt right up I can't find anything that's legal for California other than a magnaflow 36622 not sure if I need to do some fabbing to install it.

Pretty much the only bolt on option will be from a dealer, which means big dollars. Best bet would be to get some quotes from local shops.

Thought that too, i found out that this cat magnaflow 36622 is a direct fit bolt on cat (fits 85-87 si preludes, also 86,87 1.6l integras) which is great, now all i need is 2 Cat gaskets which ill get tomorrow , i got it for $171.79 free shipping from a ebay seller, 10 min after i bought it they raised their buy it now price to $256.60 lol guess cause thats what everyone else is selling it for online and they havent updated their prices lol lucky me and its already gonna be at my door tomorrow

Wow, I'm surprised anyone still makes a direct fit for these cars. Be prepared for some pain getting the old bolts out. Those things are always rusted to hell after so many years. And don't even bother with a wrench, just cut them off.
