A18A engine swap

hi all,

I am planning to swap my current engine A18A (carb) with FI engine. Could anyone advice me what FI engine suit with my CA1 with minimum modification and less cost...thanks

Don't use the manifolds, just use the long block. As long as your existing carbed manifold fits the head, there's no reason to convert to fuel injection, unless you really feel the need.

If you do want to switch to PGM-FI, there is a how-to on this site that walks you though it. It's not for the faint of heart, and it requires a different fuel tank, an additional fuel line, a different engine wiring harness, a different chassis harness, and of course a new computer. There are several other major things I've left out, but the how-to covers them all quite well.

could u just replace the Head Cylinder, make it to FI?? i mean i have a A16A1 Accord with auto Tranny.... Carbed!!!

You can use the manifolds from an A20A on the A16A. The head ports are the same. This makes an easy EFI conversion.
