I have a feeling I have on of the weirdest 3geez. Post your pics! Here are some of my "WTF is that?" mods. Autozone pedals don't count

Pictured: PCV valve being used as a blowoff valve when I have backfires (p.o.s. carb). The "adapter hose" is the end of a tube of Liquid Nails




Pictured: 97 Accord alternator. Didn't line up as I had hoped, used washers and spacers to make it fit

lol yea it's not going to win any awards (unless it's one of those "worlds ugliest dog" type of event). It's been hit numerous times, has some rust popping up, and could use a motor rebuild (390k miles) and lots of body work.
This was my first car and I still own it. I've learned soooo much with it I just can't give it up.

The 3gee has cold a/c, 28 mpg, a thumping system (that's why I have the 49 battery), a nice comfortable interior, and eveything works.... maybe not as good as new, but it all works.

One day I may throw down some $ and fix it properly. For now my $ will be going into my 66 mustang and I have the Crown Vic as a backup car.

I need a sticker that says Rice Rocket where Rice is crossed out and Rat is written in

2x4 bumper beam. Fits perfectly and is less than half the weight of the steel one.

^^Now, this one I like! As flimsy as the steel one is the 2x4 probably will absorb more impact. But, do you then need Terminix to visit your car periodically?

POS, I don't think I've ever seen your car. You definitely have a German flair going on. I'd be interested in learning how you put the e-brake handle in. The Saab interior is epic and the A/C vents are LOL funny.

Never let it be said that the 3geez community doesn't have a lot of creativity and a certain disregard for convention.

there's been a lot of stuff cleaned up since then don't forget I'm still working on it

Ideally you would use treated lumber, or at least put a water sealer on it to keep it from rotting. But my car hardly ever leaves the garage anymore and I was feeling lazy.

Glue the emblem to the valve cover mod Wine cork in air tube mod..add duct tape

Muffler hangar to carb linkage bracket mod, and Foil duct tape to coverr messy epoxy-ed carb adapter plate mod.


figured out it looked like sh*t literally, but it was better than faded mouldings

WTF Satern SC2 spoiler mod... and body color mouldings look much better
