Transmission screwed up 3 times in a row... wtf?

I'm starting to believe that the transmission case is bent or something because every time I get my car back from the shop it runs for a day and gets progressively worse until it's back to the original condition, holding gears, not wanting to go into reverse after it's been sitting, slippage, grinding noises, banging, etc.
It's been rebuilt twice already and the torque converter was replaced the 2nd time and it's back at the shop again going to get a visit to the dealership, any theories as to what can cause this?

    Pos carb,

Your 3-g overheated bigtime before. I beleive it has toasted your trans. Warped the thing. I remember seeing pictures of your cooling fan as to the severity of it. And I wonder if this may also be the reason of other Honda 3-gs trans problems. I would suggest takeing the valve body down and put a straight edge across it where all those passages are to see if it's warped.

    Yup,

    5 speed dude.... 5 speed.

If you really want an auto tranny, I would get a complete new tranny.

Anyway, 3gs are known for crappy auto trannies.
