3Geez Accord Grille variations.

After looking through the junkyards a few times I noticed that there appear to be at least 3 different color/versions of the grille on the 3G Accord and 2 different styles. I've seen a one piece total black style, a one piece total silver style, a black with the metal strip across the top of the grille, a transparent smokey-brown plastic that is striped underneath and has a metal strip across the top of the grille and finally a Blueish gray plastic thats semi transparent and striped(like this one) with a black plastic strip across the top. There's probably a few more variations that I forgot to mention or haven't come across yet as well.

Anyways, my question is what color/ style came on which car? Was it based on trim level? Color? Body style? Year? Or was it just random?

My 89 Lxi Hatch had a bluish gray grille w/ a black plastic strip across the top but it doesn't really match the eyelids which are more of a smokey brown color. Does the bluish gray color become smokey brown over time due to fading and etc, or are they two different variations meaning mine was replaced at some point?

Or, if you don't know, just post what grille your car has and what body style, trim, year and (original) color the car is, and after enough people post, it should be possible to figure out what cars came with what kind.

they came in various styles (with chrome strips, black etc...), I guess depending on cars trim.
