    26K mile club!!!!

I'm new here and just picked up an 85 Accord sedan with 26k miles. I'll post more pics later as the car gets cleaned up and I start a few small projects on it. I look forward sharing more with people who can appreciate this car. I plan on doing a mild bolt on build with mainly period correct parts including a set of Momo Quasars, some late 80's PIAA driving lights, Eibachs/Konis, and a system featuring period Alpine, ADS, JL audio, and Precision Power components. I'll post pics later when I have enough posts.

Can't wait to see the setup! I found an older Alpine deck that I've got running in my 84, and have the matching EQ to go with it. I think it's actually early 90's so not quite period correct, but it's all black with the sweet green lettering. And it's just AM/FM/CD, though I would love to figure out how to wire up Aux in.

You might have a hard time finding the Eibach springs. They seem to rarely turn up, though it does happen once in a while. I've managed to find two NOS sets, and I think one other guy on here (with an SEi?) did. It took some patience though. They're not a drastic drop, in fact, most people won't think your car is even lowered. But it does get rid of that granny-car looking height that it has from the factory!

What model is your car? LX, base model, SEi? Can't wait to see some pictures. If you're carb'd, your best bet is to swap out the stock carb for a Weber, and you'll find that any A20 header will also bolt onto your engine, though it won't meet up with your cat properly, it's a couple inches too long, so you'll need to get the pipe shortened, or have a custom system built.

I figured I might have a hard time finding some. I may Just have to figure out something else. The car appears to be a base model from what I have read but does have factory air and cruise. I don't have any performance upgrades planned aside from the suspension. Its mainly going to be a clean daily driver. I have an MR2 for the weekends.

Sorry for the crappy cell pics. The car has been run through one wand wash which is the first in at least a year. I'm looking forward to seeing how clean I can get this thing. The last pic is under the oil cap!
