    Brakes

Looking at getting a set of cross drilled rotors for the 89 LXi hatchback. I know powerstop makes them, not sure if anyone else does.

Any suggestions on brands of rotors and pads? Any input is appreciated.

slotted and dimpled brembos, the real thing. I got mine for only $100 for the pair, not sure what their selling for now. I ran them with EBC pads. They took my kind of testing and didn't whimp out. 25-30 miles 100% as quick as I could go along back road foothill roads. I was either braking, cornering or into the throttle 100%, for the distance. No fade, easy to modulate, I highly recommend them. The catch is, if you really take advantage of what they can do, allot,.......they do make a fare amount of dust. In spite of that, you can bet my next car will have them both the brembo's and EBC pads.

Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

When I did that I stayed with the stock sized rotors, I did not upgrade to the larger 88-89lxi rotor's. But if you want to do that, they have that size of rotor as well.

And yes 14's would work, that's what the factor did.
