CV joints

ok, i would appreciate it if someone can explain cv joints. where is the best place to go if you need new ones? what do they sound like when they are going bad? i know there is a how-to on replacing them, i'm not asking that. i appreciate all responses, except for the negative ones.

ok, i know some stuff about cv joints. for 1, there not the kinda joints u can smoke. hehe. being a smart ass. but for real. ok, when they are going bad, u will usually hear a knocking or clunking sound when u turn and accelerate. u can buy them at mostly all autoparts stores. they should have them in stock. every place i went had them. u can go to O'reilly Auto parts, Auto Zone, Pepboy's, Napa, etc. u could also try the Honda dealership if u have one. but they will charge u so much, u would rather leave it. i bought mine a Pepboy's and had them installed there. i paid $278.54 for the parts and service. hope this helped u out.
