How are the Mobile Authority Subs and Lightning Audio or Pyramid? I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the deep base on the Alpine from the store i was like yeah baby that is the shit. cause even MTX did not come close to the base that Alpine had. So do i get enough base from those subs? I have no clue how they are cause i dont see them around here in stores.

how much do you want to spend on the amp?
well, you will get what you pay for. this is what i have been saying all my life. It is true in a lot of cases.
i think you should save a little more and get something good.
    http://www.millionbuy.com/apnsws1041d.html
http://www.millionbuy.com/apnswe1041.html with 200rms power you should be good.
    i like this one http://www.millionbuy.com/pericbm5710.html
i heard this ones they have nice and tight bass http://www.millionbuy.com/vofzx4710.html
you can never go wrong with Rockford Fosgate http://www.millionbuy.com/rocrfz3410.html
i guess it all depends how much you want to spend. and what power lever are you looking. if you want to spend $50 per sub, i am thinking you will get around 200-300W per sub, power level handling.
about the boxes. they should be the same. make sure you know the dimensions to calculate the volume. WxHxD=volume for square box. I would say try to get a box with back sloped.
if you get square box the waves that will travel inside the box will bounce from the back and hit the sub and cancel out. this will decrease sound performance. if you have back or front sloped the sound wave will bounce all around and you should hear nice bass.
anyway, i think you should save more money and get something nice, this way you are gonna know that you some quality shit.

okay this is the ordeal. The Volfenhag subs are 2-4, 8 ohm operation. so that basically means i can use a 2channel amp that would run with either a 2 ohm, or a 4 ohm, or even a 8 ohm right? Lower the number (2) deeper the base right?

Nice subs. i would go with pioneer or infinity. they both can handle 250RMS. which means you can run them on 400-500Rms amp easy.
about the boxes. are you sure you want ported box. everyone recomend sealed. i have sealed and it is nice.
i think you should go with sealed.

I am gonna get these Pioneer ones and what kinda amp do u recommend if i get two of these Pioneers? Is it better to get just one 2 channel or 2 mono?

Whats the difference bwt Ported and Sealed? Are they different in a Bandpass and an open?

i asked the question about the box types before and this is what i got in responce https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7118 i hope that explains. i am gonna stick with sealed box. when i got my alpine my local stereo shop used sealed box. I love the sound of it. i think it is bery clear bass.
ok about the amp, those pioneer can hold 250W a piece, which makes 500 for both of them. if i was you i would get an amp that can push at least 400Watt in RMS. which one to get, 2ch or mono, it is all depends how are you gonna wire them. most people bridge their amps to get more power with makes 2channel a mono amp. so it is up to you how are you gonna wire the subs to the amp.
this one is not bad http://www.millionbuy.com/prfcl600m.html
this is what people have to say about profile amp, this one is 4 channel http://www.epinions.com/Profile_CL640_626404 but read the review.
you could go with this one http://www.millionbuy.com/piogmx962.html but in my opinion it is overpriced for it is power.
i just read on internet to stay away from Volfenhag. they made cheaply and can't hold much power. http://www.clubknowledge.com/cgi-loc...ction.cgi?g637
this is the link if you want to read it.

ok back to the amps, this one is not bad http://www.millionbuy.com/kenkac729s.html
Profile is good for a beginers but if you want something that can last longer go with something else.
i would guess that your best bet would be to go on ebay and look around.
i will see what i can find on ebay for a nice price
range under $100-150. i got my alpine mono amp for $150, but it is only pushing like 150W at 4ohm load, or 200watt at 2ohm load.
let me look on ebay and see what i can find.
    Alex.

wooohooo... I have those exact pioneers in 12's with a sealed custom fosgate box... I read what you said shepherd about the boxes that have flat backs to them.... damn mine has a flat back.... I wonder if my shit would sound better with it slanted.... its really nice right now and I have a 400w Interfire amp rated 450w... It pushes those pioneers great... I still want a more powerful amp though... If I were you Praveen I would go with Fosgate, memphis, or Alpine... if you go Alpine you should go with a powerful one... well you should go with a powerful one regardless but if you go go with anything thats rated under 450 watts your going to find yourself wanting more power in like 2-3 months... Thats just my opinion though.... 200w per sub doesnt feel like much... it pushes a lot of air having 2 12's thats for damn sure but I would love to double my amps wattage with a 800w 2way Fosgate and push 400 per sub... That Volfenhag looks good... if it really pushes 500w then I would say go for it... it looks like it vents well too.... just remember to bridge it and see how it sounds if you run the subs in parellel....

oh crap Im sorry... I think mine support 600w max... it may be because they are 12's or maybe they are just a lil bit different...
