So for anyone who did not see my last thread ill some everything up quick and get to the good stuff ( The pics haha ) anyways...
Back in Feb. when I got my tax return I hit Craigslist in search of a 93 civic Hatch ( The car ive been wanting since 4th grade ) but I ended up coming across an 86 accord lxi no photos or anything just a number and a name with a description I called and worked out a possible price if the car was what he said it was that price being $1300 didn't seem to bad as the clutch was just replaced and only had 107k all power locks and windows worked ( according to the guy) I had a buddy drive me down there and the car was great! The moon roof was the selling point haha this Phx Az sun is brutal but that'll be awesome during winter anyways great car in great condition I took it home and haven't regretted it at all!!![]()
May 2nd im on my way home from dropping my wife off at work and Boom! this old lady cuts across 2 lanes to try and pull into a parking lot cutting a car off and making me T-bone her see the images below:

As you can see there was hardly any damage lol the ladies insurance company gave me a list of shops to take it to so I took it in ( got to drive a 2012 eclipse spyder convertible as the rental ) it was ok but I was missing my Honda so after waiting 2 months + a couple days I got tired of waiting as there didnt seem to appear to be that much damage... I called the insurance company and they were shocked I still had the rental they thought the shop already returned my car all that fun stuff so after a bill of $2500 + on just the rental ( of course the insurance company picked up this tab) they decided to total the car of course all this happened on the day the shop got all the parts in for my car ( very lucky) the insurance company paid me $3800 for the car I bought it back for $300 and instead of salvaging the title they let me get historic plates ( adds a nice touch I dont mind ) the shop made a deal with me and installed the new bumper and replaced the lights and all so it worked out for about $800 ( a little high but w.e the money was free) so I walked away with $2700 and my car back with a new bumper and finally all my blinkers were working for once! ( I forgot to mention while my car was in the shop we had a bad storm and one of the storage shelves fell on my trunk hence the damage you will be seeing later in this post so now that you know the story here is what I have done since the best accident of my life ( it helped me pay off some debt I had and do a little work to the car! not bad!)
First thing I did was install a Universal Short Ram intake that a buddy gave me off his car he had 5 years ago lol as well as replaced the distributor cap wires and plugs and cleaned under the hood a little to clean it up.

Ive also installed a sound system my buddy sold me his 800w kenwood amp for $25 whoa! what a good friend eh? on top of that i purchased to 10' kicker comp subs and a band pass box took out the back seat and build a wall for the subs ( I didnt do the best job so ill be going back to fix this as time permits just wanted it out of the way for now)

I also bought 17'' rims with low profile tires for $300 on craigslist (youde be amazed with the deals you could find) tires still have about 80-90% tred left on them.
before I post that pic im going to show you the paint I redid after the shop repairs since the photo of my touch up includes a wheel shot before I post the full shots...
