Wow, wasn't expecting that colour, will look nice though.
Bet you're frustrated over having missed something that you can now see once it's in colour.. I always am, but it looks great.
Those door frames look so much nicer without the roof gutter hanging over them.
Wheels nice & mean. Hope they don't rub on the arches at the back once fully laden, my hatch certainly would!

Looking good! Wow you cut out the front arches for the flares! Pretty cool work man. What's up with the grey? Did you block it back out or something?

    Hahahah te8 style

I wasn't gonna mask the windows as I'm gonna sand/buff them later as its filled with stupid oversprays and crap from the previous paintjob -.- Figured I might do that in one go and rather not waste my time/energy/tape/papers to mask them

    Me too!

Anyway so stripped the bay down to just.. well engine xD

    Nasty stuff

Headlamps are out too, making room for the E34 projectors like mine (Y)

    Seriously?

    Flares are on

    LOLwheelgap

Sucks that the coilovers are all the way down lolol

Ignore the fitment, I still gotta realign the doors and stuff. New weatherstrip does funny things to your fitment, just saying.

Awesome work Haz its great to see life put back into this 1G! The fender flares flow pretty good with the body lines, looks like the rear's are going to be a bit tricky though? I agree with you hopefully you can get it as low as yours In for more keep up the good work man!

    Re: 1979 Accord Restomod

Now heres something that I hate to do: the engine bay. It was such a mess its not even funny!

I know I should have done the bay first but the owner was planning to do an engine swap sometime later after the car was painted but he changed his mind later so..

No crazy shave/tuck or anything like my car, just a quick respray and redo the hacked up harness >< Whoever did the work on it before should be shot!

I don't plan on removing the engine for some reason, don't ask!

Blasted both the bay and the engine with bunch of degreaser. Soo much cleaner LOL

Also installed a pair of BMW E34 projector headlamps. Lots of cutting involved

Not something I would do but he wanted these

    Oh well

Looking forward to seeing how the smaller inner lamps look. Still considering that idea if I can come up with some cheap (damaged) parts to play with, though kind of wanted to do a customized grille to match (slightly more trapezoid /2g accord /Mustang style central grille).
