    Anyone tried this exhaust system?

Hi all, Dynomax makes an exhaust system which they have listed as universal for honda civics and it looks dang close to the exhaust path on my 86 LX-i hatch. Anyone used it before or think it looks like it would work with perhaps only minor modification to it?

    Here the link:

    Thanks in advance

I agree. I just checked out the monza system which is listed on the performance parts list sticky. Its priced cheap at under $300. Do you have or do you know of anyone who has experience with this system?

people that used that system said that its good but the muffler. a bit raspy at high rpms. from what i remember the closest aftermarket exhuast system that might work is from a 5th gen prelude.

Thanks for the input. I think that for the price I can't go wrong and will be ordering the Monza system once my credit card is payed down some. Can't do it all at once sadly.

    Spare cash?....what's that?

^ If you end up buying that, can you please post a vid of how it sounds? I've been debating on whether to get that or go with a 2.5" exhaust with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator and streetpower flat black muffler.

Best setup really is to go for one made to fit, get a A20A3/4 manifold which is 4-2 port and polish the crap out of it, enlarge the secondary ports to just under 2" and then have 2" downpipes fitted and 2.25" main system or if your going for a racey engine build 2.5" but you will only need this if your gunning for 180bhp plus. Anything less 2.25" is fine and 2" for upto 160bhp. P.s. make sure all bends are done by mandrel bender not crush bender or you'll end up with a very restrictive setup.

Pacesetter setup is ok but rusts quickly as it's mild steel.

^ I know 2.5" is somewhat big but I do plan of getting a b swap in the near future (hopefully!) with quiet a few bolt ons so I might as well upgrade now and I will definitely get mandrel bends over crush bends.
