Very nice, looks like they light up nice & consistant, and the smoking has factory subtlety.
    Love it.

Yeah exactly the look I was going for (Y) Not a fan of dark smoke myself and the LEDs are made so they would light up the whole housing instead (Y) No dots visible even!

    OMG Hazwan!

    Your car is looking awesome!

Tell me one thing, the EG brakes needed too much adaptation?
They'll fit the original 13" steelies?

13" wheels will clear the calipers, but 4x100 stud pattern rules out the original 4x120 wheels.

    Re: My 1g Thread

So I was bored the other day and was looking for something cheap/free that I could do so I've decided that I wanted my tweeters in the A-pillar. I know, random mods ftw but yeah PICS:

They never came with any mounting base so I had to fabricate one from a... 2" PVC pipe It fits perfectly! and obviously the A-pillar trims were cut.

    Time to glass them on!

I need in car pics but they sounded good I'm not an audiophile or anything but I can tell the difference between a crappy and decent or good sounding system and I would rather not listen to anything if the stereo sounded like crap xD

Sweet man! Is that actually fiberglass or just resin? Either way, that looks great!

    Re: My 1g Thread

They're actually one of those fiberglass in a can thing, so much easier to work on on smaller stuff like this and way stronger than straight up body filler. It would be better if you use the actual cloth + resin for bigger area though.

Not bad for something I spent like uh.. nothing hmm?

Beautiful car and I like that tweeter mod. What did you use to re-coat the a-piller trims to look so close to stock?

Can you knock it down a little with sandpaper?

I did it once when I had my dash resprayed, not too happy with the finish. It looks nowhere near the factory texture. I really need to find a proper texture paint locally. I need to redo my dash as some of the cracks came back in several areas (N)

    Re: My 1g Thread

I think experience is important to do this but with some practice you can do it. You need The vinyl (the thin one), a heat gun, industrial glue, gloves? (you dont want to burn your fingers), some filling material for the cracks, sandpaper to smooth everything and to assure proper glue adhesion, cutting blade, another dash to practice (or something alike) how much you can stretch the vinyl and how to avoid wrinkles, how to apply the glue evenly, etc.
Remember that new vinyl over the old one will make the openings in the dash thicker and will be more difficult to reinstall fresh air vents and stuff, i think is better to remove all the old vinyl without damaging the sponge-like material underneath to achieve original thickness.
