Always had me a hankerin' for some them 3geez! :)

Hey there everyone, name is Shelby from Wichita Kansas. Just got a sedan accord carb 1988 LX one owner with 212k on the clock, and soon to be acquired 89 coupe se-i 5-speed, look super clean no rust, no damage, nothing. $500, it doesnt run,
the sedan i picked up for $700, and just needs a tranny replacement which will be done in a few weeks.
I have owned 4th gens for about 12 years and have decided to see what the 3rd gens are like to own and modify and play with. missed out on a 3g as my first car, so opted for a year newer and started modifying ever since. i have been searching this thread for awhile and finally joined as i have the vehicle now, lol. ill be interested in the b20a for the coupe, however only thing that confused me was the valve cover has the H symbol on the left of the cover. as opposed to the 160 hp with the H in the center of valvecover... But I figure it will be one fun aspect of these cars and i like the oldschool factor of it. But glad to be here!

Welcome to the forum. Do you have any idea what might be needed to get the engine in that 89 running? Since you got it for just $500 and it's in good/great condition other than the engine, I think you could justify investing some money in that engine.
