I posted this up on my preludes site but I never really took the time to figure it out till now. Is this a manufacturing date and a worker number/production line number? Do the 1g accord dashboards share a similar number on them somewhere? Check it out! This came out of a '82 Prelude dashboard and a tan '81 dashboard I have has similar numbers as well.
I have a dash pad from a 79 Accord and it has some markings near the speaker grill but nothing this clear.
I don't recall seeing anything like that on mine (N)
Yeah, not sure here either. I don't recall specifically, or it's been so long I forgot.
hmmmm......this is cool none-the-less. If you guys find similar markings on your dash, could you post up some pics? Maybe the 2nd gen accords had this marking structure? *shrugs*
I'll take a look if there are any other 1g Hondas at the yard this weekend with the gauge cluster out of them. I can check the 1g Preludes as well.
