had a great time at the 3geez meet in Seattle this weekend 4.20.13. Put the accord on the dyno and was impressed with the numbers for now. Was detonating pretty good at top end around 7.8k and vtec engagement was horrible as in not smooth transaction feels good don't get me wrong it just robbing me hp when it engages then climbs. over all outcome was

196.4hp 130tq. not bad cams are set at 0-0 need to bring the LSA closer and tune a bit more on top end. ill post a dyno graph shorty

Was doing some info on my setup I should be 220hp easy it's the fact that Crome free is making me loose a lot of hp. An I need to set intake cam to +2 which I didn't do an vtec engagement needs to set higher for tht dip on the graph to go away.

I hear that transistion you're talking about, it's almost like it's pulsing in huge spurts but it does catch up.
If I had to guess, it sounds like an integral flow issue at wot , maybe cam timing since erverthing else is champ.
What temp does the engine wind up settling in to if you don't me asking?
    It still runs awesome.
Edit: dam I didnt see that last post till after

Re: B18B1 Build and Swap - Rendon LX-I

update: Got the accord re-tuned in away its kinda weird thou that at like 7-8.5k tuner said he does slight adjustments and changes he had to keep changing it so he said something is wrong. Only thing i can think of is having the battery in back with the ghetto wire i have. wiring is not a issue or it wouldn't run LOL.

But im over 200hp now we set peak as in when i drop into 3rd for example i would lean pretty good then richen up. fixed that moved vtec to 5.8k way smoother in transaction. messed with the cams abit. all i gots to say is it moves now i taught it was fast but its faster. ill have to do a follow up vid. All in general its smoother.

Btw i had a huge vacuum leak. was at 14hg and had a high idle took out the thermo gasket i got and put a oem one. vaccum went to 19hg and the car wouldnt stay at a idle since the tuner set the idle per vacuum leak lol. so the Iacv was correcting my vaccum leak. anyhow i have to do some work on the accord yet as in bushings and what not haven't had any time so busy with family kids and car shows. i redid my wiring as well so its pretty good . ill post some pics but figured ill follow up on my progress.

time to bump my some what progress i did to my accord so far.

installed pc680 battery and i love it . made my own bracket and used the old battery mount to use as a spot. ill have to add pics later i also installed a relay to my fuel pump great mod to improve your overall voltage to the pump.

Pics of battery all mounted up! That little PC680 is pretty rad isn't it? I put mine in the trunk and used 1/0 wire up to the main fuse box. Turns over like a champ!

If you had 300 dollar headers you wouldn't go any lower lmfao. An I'm maxed out on my coil overs . B series is lighter remember . If I had a a20 this thing would drop another 2 inches lol.

Got it from eBay was the cheapest I found back 5 months ago lol

For sure a considerable difference. Notice any difference in pre loaded jounce riding over dips? Love your car Rendon

Re: B18B1 Build and Swap - Rendon LX-I

It feel way different to me the swap feel tons better the weight if the a20 would really suck down that front end now I have the b series it feels like a go kart . Front does not bounce as much that's prolly have to do with my coil overs as well lol.

I'm surprised my kyb's are holding up with these weapon r's.

Car looks amazing man. I read up on this thread on a work night and only got 3 hours of sleep.

And with my lack of knowledge what does the LS mean in LS VTEC? Which is the motor you swapped in.
