I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I just picked up an '88 accord LX sedan. Before this, I owned a '90 geo metro hatchback that got 45mpg avg. I also owned an '89 Accord LX-I a few years ago but had a little too much fun e-braking through a roundabout and ended up over a curb, bending the sub frame, destroying a CV, etc. I also had a '92 Integra GS that was the fastest of the three Jdm cars and had adjustable coil overs. Rear ended it 5-years ago. I've also owned a '79 firebird formula and a '70 caprice 2dr. This mostly happened when I was under 21-years old, did a lot of stupid things.
I bought this car from my grandparents a couple weeks ago. They bought the car when it was less than two-years old, and it has been garaged ever since. So overall condition is a 9/10. So far I've stuck with the 13" rims and used the MB rims and Kumho Solus tires which are only 155/80/R13's but they support the weight fine (wheels and tires came off the old geo metro). I also had the windows tinted to 20% last week. Dropped in a sub box with two 300w 12" subs and two 350w Kenwood amps.
Only future plans are to get the stereo working. About a 2" drop in rear, 2.75" drop in front. A Magnaflow muffler with 6" body and 5" outlet. And of course HID's. I'm really unimpressed with the cars speed but that's a single cam for you. This is also the first 4dr vehicle I've owned, never liked sedans much but this one is growing on me, but I always go coupe over sedan when I can.
Sounds sort of detailed, but that's where I'm at right now. I did some browsing around the forum, seems like a good group of people and I look forward to talking Hondas with you. Please introduce yourself as well especially PNW folks.
